About this policy

Paws & Play operates https://pawsandplayga.com. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the website, request babysitting, pet sitting or dog walking, or use the site’s authorized email connection. A parent or guardian reviews inquiries before bookings are confirmed.

Information you provide

The request form collects your name, email address, requested service, preferred date, approximate hours and any details you choose to provide. We use this information to review requests, respond to you and arrange services. Please do not submit children’s names, home addresses, medical details or other sensitive information through the form. Parents and guardians should submit requests on behalf of children.

Email delivery and service providers

Form submissions are emailed to our monitored Gmail inbox. We use GoDaddy to host the website, WordPress to operate it, and WP Mail SMTP with Google’s Gmail API to deliver website emails. These providers process information needed to provide their services under their own privacy policies. The current homepage request form does not create a separate inquiry record in the WordPress database; copies may remain in email accounts, hosting logs and backups.

Google account connection

Only an authorized site administrator connects a Google account. Visitors do not need to connect a Google account to submit a request. The connection uses OAuth authorization so the website can send emails through the administrator’s Gmail account. Authorization tokens and connection settings are stored by the WordPress email plugin. We use this connection for website email delivery, not advertising or selling Google account data. The account owner can revoke access through their Google Account’s third-party connections settings or remove the connection in WP Mail SMTP.

Technical information and cookies

The hosting service and WordPress may process IP addresses, browser information, request times and security logs to operate and protect the site. The request form uses a short-lived identifier derived from the visitor’s IP address to limit repeated submissions. WordPress uses cookies for administrator login and site administration.

Access, sharing and retention

Inquiry information is available to the people reviewing requests and providing services, with parent or guardian oversight, and to providers needed to host the site and deliver messages. It may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the site or others. Inquiry information is not sold or used for targeted advertising. We retain correspondence as needed to respond, arrange services, maintain related records and meet applicable obligations. Email providers and hosting backups may retain copies according to their own settings and retention practices.
